Your vault in any browser.
Bring your iPhone or Mac key via QR scan. Zero-knowledge. All crypto happens in your browser — the server only ever sees ciphertext.
Your keys never leave your device. The vault server stores only opaque encrypted blobs — it cannot read your memories. Decryption happens entirely in your browser after you scan a QR code from your iPhone Memoir app. Even if the server were compromised, your memories remain unreadable without the key stored on your device.
Requires Memoir on iPhone or Mac to bootstrap your key.
Built for reflection,
not consumption.
Every decision in Memoir starts with one question: does this help you understand yourself better?
End-to-end encrypted
Your memories never leave your devices unencrypted. Even we can't read them.

Encrypted voice memos
Capture a thought in 10 seconds — voice-recorded, transcribed on-device, never sent to a server.

Native, not bloated
Pure SwiftUI. No tracking, no ads, no cloud lock-in. Apple-native.
On-device photo search
OCR runs on-device — find a memory by what's written in a photo, never sending it anywhere.

Privacy is the product.
Not the business model, not a policy update, not a checkbox. The actual product.
| On other apps | On Memoir | Why it matters | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storage | Server-stored | Device-only, E2E | Your provider can't be subpoenaed for content it never had. |
| Access | Linked to vendor account | Face ID + iCloud Keychain | No email or password to leak, phish, or breach. |
| Sync | Cloud-replicated plaintext | Encrypted blobs only | Apple sees ciphertext — unreadable without your key, period. |
Each memory is encrypted with AES-GCM-256 before it touches storage. The key is generated on first launch and stored in your iCloud Keychain — synced end-to-end across your Apple devices, accessible only with your biometrics. No server ever sees a plaintext entry.
